About Allison
Allison is a certified aerial sling instructor and the owner and coach of Skyward Aerial Arts. She began her aerial training under the coaching of Kelly VanLeeuwen of MAYA Movement Arts. After years of being a dedicated student, she began a 200+ hour training program with Kelly and obtained her certification from Circus Arts Institute (CAI) in 2017.
Allison began teaching for MAYA as one of the primary sling instructors alongside Kelly and Sara Fawcett. After the restructuring of MAYA Movement Arts, Allison founded Skyward in order to continue to provide aerial sling to the Greenville community.
As a lifelong performer, Allison feels most at home in the air. She has spent over a decade honing her craft and has cultivated a recognizable style that combines artistry, fluidity and her tornado spins. Utilizing aerials, she connects with audiences leaving a lasting impact from her performances.
Allison is passionate about creating a supportive, empowering space for students from all walks of life.
When she's not in the studio you can often find her running, dancing, reading, or spending time with her adorable Aussie pup, Luna.
